Peril of having short hair for the first time in almost ten years: the Omer! Yes! Haircuts are Not On during the Omer, for historical reasons, but I actually haven't been a Regular Haircut Person since I started caring about that sort of thing. So, day before Pesach, on Greyhound bus to Boston, realise, oh heck, overdue for a haircut and if I don't get one today I'm going to look like Eighties Girl really soon, argh. Moral: plan ahead. But I have a haircut (c/o Supercuts), so you're spared Eighties Girl.
Seders in Boston: nice. Long walk across town in SNOW - yes I said SNOW. Coconut macaroons: yum. Couple of interesting grammatical variations noted in seder liturgy: must write post about them sometime. Book about contemporary slavery edited by housemate of host: must write post about that as well, being thematic an' all that. Also have in mind post about Pesach muesli (yes really) and chocolate matzah. And one about scary Easter bunnies. We'll see how many of those I can turn out this week :)
