Getting the kitchen ready for Pesach was relatively simple: stuff everything into cabinets, and get out the Pesach stuff, of which there is not a great deal. Recovering it from Pesach is much more work; everything which is going away gets packed in paper to protect it from dust, and all the stuff which was stuffed in the stuffholes has to be brought out and put back in its proper places. It's very wearifying.
