...but I am waiting for prints to print. They are piccies for the display I'm giving at the Fancy Pants Dinner, and they are very pretty, but they are taking a heck of a long time to edit and print. I have scans, but not scans at the sizes I need these prints, so I have to edit them, judiciously airbrush the scanner marks off the edges, and then print them. School doesn't have a colour printer, so I'm doing it here.
I was going to do it earlier in the evening, but I was meeting with the UK Reform sofer, who was in NYC talking with the Conservative rabbinical association about a special scroll he's writing for their new holocaust liturgy. I went to meet him after school, and he was simply lovely, so I stayed rather later than I'd meant. We talked lots about sofrut stuff. It was nice, I don't get to talk to soferim very often at the moment. He showed me his layout for the Holocaust Scroll. It's amazing.
