I think my scariest piece of equipment is the razor blade. You use the razor blade to make a vertical slit up the quill, to hold the ink, like in a fountain pen. The razor blades I have are double-edged (that was what they had at the chemist), and consequently I'm sometimes troubled by the thought: if my fingers slipped, this would slice right up between them...Keeps me alert. Fortunately, it doesn't require any great pressure to make the slit.

I've done 6/20 pages of Megillah #2. Might get another one done tonight, if I'm fast. It has to get to Jerusalem by the 24th...I can do this, right?
