Montreal has three types of roads:
1) Steep hills
2) One-way streets in the wrong direction
3) Streets which are closed because of roadworks.
This makes getting home on a bicycle more of a challenge than I had anticipated. However, it is nice to be cycling again and I expect I will figure out an optimal route right around the time the snow comes and bicycling becomes impractical. The BIXIs are somewhat heavy and lumbering, but on the other hand you don't have to worry about parking or maintenance.
