Today I worked on a Torah which had a very badly damaged page. It was superlatively bad parchment, and the letters were all flaking off because the surface was so rubbish. Think writing on a T-shirt with crayon.

It was the part of Torah where God tells Israel to build the tabernacle with the highest-quality materials.
