Barbie made it onto Sociological Images! A while ago.

In other news, our building apparently has mice. This is BAD. Aside from being generally insanitary, mice like to eat parchment. So I am going to have to collect up all the various bits of parchment I have around the place and put them in strongholds, as well as tupperwaring all the stuff in the kitchen. This is tedious.

That's really odd with your Barbie, she's not related to the rest of the article at all. I mean, she's an art piece, not something marketed by Mattel. I suppose they could be saying that you made her Jewish but didn't make her look "ethnically" Jewish, just the usual white, blonde, big-breasted woman except with tallit and tefillin. But I think they're missing the point somewhat.

They swiped the graphic from the Spertus exhibit, where she was relevant. It just amused me that she's there at all :)
