There's a little baby who comes to Pardes - her Mummy takes classes here, and is a generally lovely person. It's a bit hard minding a baby as well as learning full time, and quite often what happens is that students who have a free hour or half-hour spend it playing with the baby, so that Nechama can have some time to herself. It's very communal, and the baby seems to have a terrific time.
What's funny is the women in the highest level class, who can't seem to leave the kid alone! They have less class than the rest of us, so their time is more flexible, and they seem to spend all of it playing with the baby and taking it in turns to have a cuddle. Nice atmosphere.
