(no subject)

I've got bogged down in Part II of this essay I've been sporadically working at for months. I've got lots of notes and random bits which need to be fitted into the argument, but I can't focus on the argument itself, and consequently find myself unable to sustain coherent thought for more than a few minutes. I'm not sure whether this is the reason that all the sources seem more than usually opaque, but either way, that isn't helping. Gack. I think I need to go for a walkie.
