Torah ink is a Toxic Substance!
Checking my phone messages after the festival was over, I found two messages from Vicky At FedEx. Vicky is ushering my Torah supplies through Customs (they are being shipped as Domestic Cow Hide and Sinew), and she is perplexed by the ink. It is black, gloopy, and labelled in Hebrew only, so I must fill out a Toxic Substances clearance form before it can be released.
Torah isn't supposed to be toxic!
