We used my Megilla yay :)

And the reading was nice (I benefit from having had lessons; really no-one else here has, so I get to sound amazing with very little effort), and Yaffa was super (I'd been teaching her) and didn't dry up or wet herself from fright, or any of the other dreadful things she'd envisaged - and the spiel was funny (featuring Will in a number of roles), and then in the day W and I went to Shira Chadasha for their morning reading, and then I went to the Kotel for Women of the Wall's reading. They want me to write them a Megilla of their own (yay cash), and it was generally civilised and nice. Lots of booing and hissing in the first chapter where Vashti gets slammed for being assertive.

Then Talya and her Mummy Phyllis were going to spend time wandering about in the Old City, and since W both dislikes the Old City and wasn't there, I went with - very fun, especially the shuk, where Talya wanted to buy a hookah, and the shop-owner served us Bedouin coffee whilst giving her a smoking lesson. He lied shamefully - they all do, quite shocking - and ripped her off, but it was quite fun, anyway. Then we went to a Picnic in the Park with lots of Pardes, and it was pot-luck and quite yummy and nice. Good purim.
