Bother. I didn't get tendons yesterday, and I am Right Out. The nearest place is the Lower East Side, I'm not going all the way out to Brooklyn again. Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's all the way down to Essex St to the little sofer's shop to get tendons and merrily-o back again, tra-la.

Essex St does have the bakery which sells bear claws and almond crescents, though. That makes up for a lot of sitting on the subway.
