greek questions
We're learning Megilla, the bit that talks about the translation into the Septuagint.
They changed certain parts, like when God says "Let us make" they changed it to something a bit less odd.
But they also keep changing things that mention donkeys.
So, anyone who knows about these things - are donkeys particularly rude/undignified in Greek? Is there a word that sounds like chamor or hamor?
Also, is there any word play on "yavan" and "yafei"? In Hebrew it means "Greek" and "nice", but they don't sound alike enough that Hebrew wordplay is plausible.
