When emptying the hot-water urn from last week, do not tip it upside down into the sink. The resulting tidal wave will shoot halfway across the kitchen and soak both you and the dog.

No, an urn can hold many things, and water is one of them.

The water was cold. It was erev Shabbat, and I was emptying it out from the previous Shabbat. Emptying out an urn of hot water is definitely much scarier.
