cleaning
We had cleaners come yesterday. Now the kitchen and the bathoom, while not beautiful, are sanitary, and I am okay with putting my hands on the surfaces. The oven has lost its scorch marks and looks like an oven (and it works)! The shit has been scraped off the floor!
I was sweeping rabbit crap out of a corner, and I found a dead lizard. It was very dead, and its skin had dried up over its skeleton so you could see the bones, but they were held together by a layer of leather. Its eyes were surprising - the eyeballs had turned into very precise cylinders inside the sockets.
