We got the visa letter this week - we have our interview on the 7th, which has only one significant factor: it's before the 28th.

So today I had to get quacked to show that I don't have anything communicable, They x-rayed me to prove I don't have tuberculosis, they took certificates to make sure I wasn't going to get tetanus or diptheria or polio or measles or mumps or rubella, they checked to make sure I didn't have various STDs, dangerous mental conditions or missing limbs, they asked me 10000 times if I was pregnant, and they took buckets and buckets of blood. Some of it was to check that I don't have HIV and other things. I think the rest of it was for the lab technician's supper.
