Monday: I went out to Neil's in Westchester, because me and my Torah are supposed to check in with him periodically. Except that if you're going to go all the way out to Westchester you might as well make a day of it, so I spent a nice day doing repairs to the lettering on a Torah for Temple Emanu-el of New York".

Tuesday: Unbelivably HOT, oh my. The poor AC couldn't cool the room. But I had to write Torah, so I froze a damp cloth and worked with it draped around my neck.

Despite this, Tuesday was a super work day: I'd written a column by the early afternoon, and then conducted sofrut studies until evening. Sofrut II (4-7ish) is learning Keset ha-Sofer with Lishkat ha-Sofer (i.e. the scribal manual with some intense commentary) and Sofrut I (7.45-10.30ish) is learning Keset without commentary. Sofrut I tends to feature pizza :D

Today: another good work day. A column before lunch is the kind of day I can really get on with. As a special treat, today you get to see pictures of what we've got so far (cols 83 through 97). OK, they all look pretty much the same really, but it's still kind of cool.
