Well, we've spent two days working on the Dump, and there's a long way to go. Here are some pictures. (Sorry, you need to make up a login - doesn't take long.) It's going to be great when it's done, but...it's not great yet...
Highlights included the sixty bags of rubbish we took out on Thursday and Friday; about 400 bottles of nail varnish (previous occupant was into multi-level marketing); 5 huge closets FULL of terrible junk-shop clothes; a black rubber vibrator which I didn't realise was there and TOUCHED ugh ugh; peeling the red carpet off the walls; picking up a pile of junk and discovering 10000000 mites crawling about; picking paint off the wall and discovering more mites (the paint is going to come off in the next few days anyway); being nobbled by some old Jew in the lift and being told that there were abominations in the apartment (she was talking about the Santa Clauses); cleaning the fridge at 1am; various antiques including old (1930s) syringe and opera glasses.
It's hard work, and school starts in two weeks.
