It's so hot. Theoretically we're getting an air-conditioner soon, hurrah, but right now working is awfully uncomfortable. It's not good to get sweat on parchment - it buckles and discolours - so I end up with lots of layers of plastic and paper between me and the parchment, with a tiny little hole through which to write, which is okay for it but annoying for me.

ETA: W has spent practically all day on the subway getting us an AC unit. Isn't he the mostest bestest ever?
